1.     Adjusting the height:

o   Place the crutches slightly ahead of you, with a width equivalent to your shoulder width.

3.     Movement:

o   Move the crutches forward simultaneously by about one step.

o   Then, move your affected or weaker leg forward between the crutches.

o   Next, move your unaffected or stronger leg to join the other leg, using the crutches for support.

4.     Climbing stairs: Use the "strong leg first" technique to climb stairs:

o   First, step up with your unaffected leg.

o   Then, move the crutches and your affected leg to join the upper step.

5.     Descending stairs: Use the "weak leg first" technique to descend stairs:

o   First, step down with your affected leg and the crutches.

o   Then, step down with your unaffected leg to join the lower step.
