This maintenance spill kit is recommended for absorbing spills of water-based or oil-based fluids that are not corrosive, hazardous, flammable or toxic. Sorbents are color-coded gray to signal that the spill does not represent an immediate danger. This large spill kit is suitable for manufacturing plants and for construction sites.

Warning: Do not use this kit to absorb spills of unknown fluids.

Pads:
Sorbent pads (also called sorbent sheets) are made of medium weight 240 gm² meltblown (nonwoven) polypropylene fibers. The fibers are sonic bonded in a grid of points, which gives the pads a typical dimpled texture. Pads are perforated lengthwise through their center, so they can be easily halved if needed. Pads offer the fastest absorption thanks to their large surface area.

Socks:
The socks have outer sleeves made of circular knit fabric. Sock ends are sealed with metal clips. Socks are recommended for containing spills rather than absorbing them, given that they have a smaller contact area than pads and pillows.

Drums:
The drum container is made of yellow high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and includes a detachable lid with a locking rim.. The drum acts as an overpack for the absorbent materials, protecting them before use. It may also be used to store used absorbents, and to transport used absorbents for disposal. The drum is certified for the transport of hazardous materials.
