These pads are recommended for absorbing spills of corrosive, hazardous, inflammable or toxic chemicals (HazMat). The absorbent materials are color-coded yellow and signal the presence of a hazard.
These pads offers the best protection in case of an unknown spill. Handle spill and used absorbents with extreme caution.
Absorbent pads features:
Absorbent pads (also called absorbent sheets) are made of medium weight 240 gsm meltblown (nonwoven) polypropylene fibers. The fibers are sonic bonded in a grid of points, which gives the pads a typical dimpled texture. Pads are perforated lengthwise through their center, so they can be easily halved if needed. Absorbent pads offer the fastest absorption thanks to their large surface area. The set of pads absorbs 68 Liters (18 Us Gallons) of oil, 42 liters (11 Us Gallons) of water.
