This white Tyvek® hood replaces the textile part of the RA9910 kit. This replacement hood is specific to the Allegro low pressure supplied respirator system. Remember to collect the hose and nylon belt from the original kit if you are using replacement hoods.

Application:
This facial piece is designed to cover the entire head and neck, making it a product of choice for work requiring respiratory protection in industrial, pharmaceutical, medical and food. It is necessary if your workers are not finely shaved or beard or mustache.

Specific characteristics of the hood:
The Tyvek® casing is splash-proof, the overlocked seams to seal. One size fit all combine ease and comfort. This is a disposable hood with an integrated suspension, pre-assembled and ready to use. The textile part is made of Tyvek®, a material that is very resistant to abrasion and very light. The visor provides an excellent field of vision thanks to a low curvature that reduces annoying reflections and glare. The visor is made with a 15 mil co-polyester (PETG). The visor does not generate distortion. The size: 6 X 12 inches. (15.2 X 30.4 cm).

This hood offers a protection factor of 1000 when used with other components of an approved respirator kit. This face part must be paired with the other components to form an integral part of an Allegro respiratory protection system. It is vital to check the associated level of risk when using it. The manufacturer has designed its products for environments with contaminant concentrations that do not exceed the exposure limit that causes immediate death. Especially if the pump stops working. This hood offers a protection factor up to 1,000 times the exposure limit allowed by the CNESST or any other applicable government regulation.

Specific characteristics of the suspension:
The suspension is disposable in the same way as the hood. It is provided with an absorbent fabric at the point of contact with the head. The harness fits easily and holds tightly. The manufacturer does not provide information on the materials used to manufacture the head harness.

Maintenance:
The textile part of the hood is disposable so no maintenance is required other than the use of protective film for the visor.

Suggestions:
We strongly recommend self-adhesive peel-off (see code RA9910-25). It can extend the life of your hood especially if your task is to paint.
