Temporary containment tent ideal for asbestos abatement and decontamination.

The kit includes 2 elements:
•1 Wheel mounted aluminium frame
•1 Synthetic fabric canvas

You can add an optional caster carriage to settle the negative pressure vacuum (air scrubber) on if you have to move the whole structure without having to stow your equipment.

This portable, retractable and lightweight kit allows you to create a sealed enclosure for general inspection tasks or for ongoing maintenance, renovation and decontamination work. It may help create a negative pressure environment. The structure is easily assembled in a couple minutes and may be folded for transport or storage. The aluminum frame is adjustable from 7 ft (2.1 m) to 10 ft (3 m) high to fit on most buildings. The frame is moreover equipped with fasteners to secure the canvas on place to avoid its collapse. The aluminum basic structure is mounted on 5 inches in diameter casters to ease its mobility.

The cube’s canvas is made of a fireproof synthetic fabric more resistant than vinyl. High stress and wear areas are reinforced with thicker webbing. The cubes open on every side and on its top if one needs access to many walls or ceiling. It also features detachable flanges on three of its sides which allow it to be installed in a door frame for example. It may be used as a buffer zone in a work area. Many cubes may be linked together by their flanges to create a larger modular containment zone or simply a zone with many compartments. On one side features an aperture of a diameter of 12 in (30 cm) to link a negative air vacuum. On that same side another aperture of a diameter of 3 in (7.5 cm) to let electric wires in or out.

This tent is generally assemble with a negative air vacuum (air scrubber) equipped with a HEPA filtration system. The type of machine depends on the volume of air to scrub: for example, if one gets to the attic or a closed-off area while removing ceiling tiles, then one must take into account the volume of air that fits in that area and the volume contained in the tent to determine the potency necessary on your air scrubber.
