Peculiarities of:
They are specially developed to protect wounds and resist friction and water. They can be adapted to the most exposed areas of the body, such as hands, arms and feet.
Application:
To apply Sylprotec dressings, follow these simple steps:
- Clean the wound: Before applying the dressing, make sure the wound is clean. Use soap and water or an antiseptic solution to clean the area around the wound. Gently dry with sterile gauze.
- Open the dressing: Remove the dressing from its individual sterile packaging. Avoid touching the adhesive to maintain sterility.
- Apply the dressing: Place the central part of the dressing (the gauze) directly on the wound. Make sure the wound is well covered.
- Secure the dressing: Gently press the adhesive edges of the dressing to the skin. Smooth the edges to avoid any folds or air bubbles.
- Monitor the wound: Change the dressing regularly, especially if it becomes damp or dirty. Check the wound for any signs of infection, such as redness, swelling or discharge.
These simple steps will help you apply dressings correctly and promote fast, clean healing. If you have any doubts or questions, don't hesitate to consult a healthcare professional.
Maintenance and service life:
These dressings are designed for single use only and should be discarded after use to avoid contamination or infection.
