Peculiarities of:
The O-ring and double-locking carabiners, the set can be quickly and easily attached to the stretcher, enabling rapid deployment in emergencies.

Application:
Application of the basket stretcher kit is a process that must be carried out with care to ensure the safety of both patients and rescuers. Here are the general steps to apply it correctly:

  1. Preparation: Make sure the basket stretcher (Item 26610) is ready and accessible. Check the condition of the stretcher assembly, including the O-ring and carabiners, for signs of wear or damage.
  2. Attaching the O-ring: Attach the O-ring to the head of the basket stretcher. This will act as a central point for the lifting straps.
  3. Attaching the carabiners: Attach the double-locking carabiners to the four corners of the basket stretcher. Make sure carabiners are securely closed.
  4. Adjust straps: Adjust strap length for tension and balance to keep the stretcher stable during lifting.
  5. Lifting: Once the stretcher set has been properly attached, use a suitable lifting system to raise the stretcher. Rescue personnel must be trained and competent in the use of lifting equipment.

Restriction:
Respect the maximum load capacity indicated by the manufacturer to avoid any risk of the belts breaking under the weight of the patient. Inspect belts for wear, tears or damage. Make sure they are in good condition before each use.

Maintenance and service life:
Establish a program of maintenance and periodic checks to ensure that belts remain in good working order, and to detect any signs of wear, tears or damage.

Clean belts after each use, following the manufacturer's instructions. Use suitable cleaning solutions that do not damage the equipment. After cleaning, allow belts to air dry completely before storing. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources. Always follow the specific maintenance procedures provided by the manufacturer to avoid damaging the belts.
