Orange high-visibility coverall for workers in moderate to high-risk areas sold individually. Safety starts with visibility. That's why Sylprotec recommends this high-visibility suit.
Terra Manufacturer's Code: 116571OR
High-visibility coveralls are designed to provide extra protection for workers in low-light conditions. They also comply with CSA standard Z96-22, class 3 and level 2. Made from cotton canvas, these high-visibility coveralls are lined and insulated to keep you warm in the harshest winter conditions.
Design:
Detachable, adjustable hood with two snap levels accommodates helmet wear.
The suit features a two-way metal zipper at the front under a storm flap, and a two-way metal zipper from ankle to hip under a storm flap. So you can ventilate your suit if you get too hot.
Rib-knit cuffs are inside the sleeves to keep cold and debris out. What's more, the knee area is reinforced with a double layer to increase durability.
You'll also find 2 microphone loops, 2 flap pockets on the chest, 2 flap pockets on the waist, 2 back pockets without flaps, 2 inside pockets and an elastic band on the lower back for added comfort.
Its 2" reflective stripes on 4" contrasting stripes ensure your visibility in all situations.
About its classification:
High-visibility coveralls are worn to alert drivers and other vehicle operators to the presence of a worker.
Class 3: This class is intended for workers in high-risk areas, such as highways and large-scale construction zones. Class 3 is the highest level of visibility for high-visibility clothing. According to CSA standard Z96-22, it covers the largest surface area of the body and provides the best visibility in low-light conditions and at a distance. This class combines Class 2 garments, with the addition of bands around the arms and legs.
High-visibility safety clothing features reflective bands that reflect light and can therefore be seen from over 250 meters away to ensure your safety, and for Sylprotec this is essential.
Fluorescent orange is highly visible during the day and in conditions with lots of artificial light. In most situations, it also offers high contrast with the background. Fluorescent orange, however, is less visible at night and in conditions of low natural or artificial light, such as dawn or dusk.
Silver-gray retroreflective strips are highly visible in natural or artificial low-light conditions, as they reflect light back towards the source of the light beam (flashlight, car headlights, etc.). They therefore offer the greatest safety at dawn, dusk and during the night. However, they do not increase visibility during the day.
