Our new insulated under helmet winter liner is a protective accessory worn under a construction or safety helmet. On the outside, it's made from a blend of polyester and cotton fibers known as poly-cotton. On the inside, it's made from a brushed cotton fabric treated so as not to catch fire easily. Hence the FR acronym for "fire retardant."

The insulated under-helmet gives you extra protection for your face and mouth, thanks to its piece that covers the lower part of the face. It keeps your head warm, reduces noise and prevents scalp irritation. It also helps prevent chilblains, burns and irritations.

Design:
The winter liner's lining is flame-retardant treated (FR) and offers superior comfort in extremely cold weather. Features a poly-cotton outer shell with soft brushed cotton lining and adjustable neck strap. This under-helmet with mouthpiece is blue in color, and can also be worn under a hard hat.

Fire Retardant treated (FR) "Flame Resistant" means that the under helmet has been treated with special chemicals to make it resistant to ignition and prevent the spread of fire. This treatment is performed in such a way that it penetrates the fiber, coating the entire fabric. Thanks to this treatment, the fabric becomes flame-retardant and retains this property for the entire life of the garment. It offers excellent protection against molten metal splashes and cold.

This winter liner is ideal for workers exposed to extreme temperatures, such as construction during the Canadian winter.

Restriction: 
This insulated winter liner is not totally fireproof. It's made from polyester/cotton and treated cotton. These materials are fire and water-resistant, but not incombustible. It may protect you from superficial burns, but it cannot guarantee total safety in the event of fire or prolonged exposure to heat.

Maintenance and service life: 
When not in use, store the winter liner in a cool, dry place to prevent mildew and material degradation. After washing, allow the winter liner to air dry. Avoid using a dryer, as long-term heat can damage materials.
