Superior manufacturer’s code: S13KFNT
These gloves are available in sizes ranging from extra-extra-small (5) to double extra-large (11). Please select the size needed in the field located above.
This glove has a puncture resistance level 3, an abrasion resistance level 3 and a cut resistance level A3 according to ASTM and ANSI standards.
GS13KFNT peculiarities:
This comfortable and lightweight glove does not hamper dexterity and protects outstandingly from cuts and abrasion. The foam nitrile coating provides an excellent grip both on oily and slippery surfaces.
Kevlar properties:
Kevlar®, a thermoplastic polymer related to aramids, is a low-density high-strength material which offers an excellent tensile strength, elongation and shear strength. This fabric doesn’t expand from temperature changes and fairly absorbs vibrations and shock. Kevlar doesn’t strain the hand and react chemically well to hydrocarbons.
Nitrile foam properties:
Nitrile foam has essentially the same properties as regular nitrile. The difference lies in the additives dispersed slightly through the compounding – in this case, a vulcanizing agent and a foaming agent are added, which causes a small loss of elasticity. Nitrile foam offer a better barrier performance to viruses and blood borne pathogens, and liquids for that matter, than latex foam but still doesn’t protect entirely since the frothing of nitrile makes it porous, thus permeable. As long as the limitations on use set by the manufacturer are respected, your nitrile glove will remain comfortable and offer a good dexterity.
Use for:
This glove is ideal for workers in the automotive industry, light metal stamping, handling small parts, maintenance industry, maintenance of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and glass industry.
Do not use for:
Kevlar® is known to have a low resistance to UV light and moisture. This glove cannot eliminate the risk of mechanical endangerment although it offers an excellent protection on this level. Please note that foam nitrile is not resistant at all to flames and neither waterproof.
Maintenance and service life:
It is recommended to carry out a basic maintenance to extend the service life of your gloves. Simply wash them with cold water, that is, 85°F/30°C, and a mild detergent. It is also recommended to rinse your glove with cold water after wash. You can then dry them at low temperature in a dryer. Never use bleach on this glove.
