This glove has a puncture resistance level 3, an abrasion resistance level 4 and a cut resistance level A5 according to ASTM and ANSI standards.

Regarding thermal protection, this glove scored 12X, which means it provides a resistance to convective cold of 1/4, a level resistance to contact cold of 2/4 and the X means it is waterproof. It is recommended when the ambient temperature is around -5 ° C (23 ° F).

GSCXTAPVC peculiarities:
This glove is lined with a soft and warm acrylic fleece lining. This comfortable and lightweight glove does not hamper dexterity and protects outstandingly from cuts and abrasion.  It even allows one to handle his or her touchscreen devices.  Its rough finish offers moreover a welcomed adherence, that is, on dry as well as on wet surfaces.

Kevlar properties:
Kevlar®, a thermoplastic polymer related to aramids, is a low-density high-strength material which offers an excellent tensile strength, elongation and shear strength. This fabric doesn’t expand from temperature changes and fairly absorbs vibrations and shock. Kevlar doesn’t strain the hand and react chemically well to hydrocarbons.

PVC properties:
PVC is a thermoplastic polymer featuring excellent mechanical and chemical properties even when heated. However, PVC has a higher polar nature which gives it inferior electrical insulating properties.

Use for:
This glove is recommended to workers involved in cold storage facilities, construction, agriculture and utilities.

Do not use for:
Kevlar® is known to have a low resistance to UV light and moisture. Of course, this glove offers no sure protection against cuts, wear, tear and puncture so mechanical risks should not be overlooked. Since the glove is partially covered, it is not recommended to submerge it in liquids.

Maintenance and service life:
It is recommended to carry out a basic maintenance to extend the service life of your gloves. Simply wash them with cold water, that is, 85°F/30°C, and a mild detergent. It is also recommended to rinse your glove with cold water after wash. You can then dry them at low temperature in a dryer. Never use bleach on this glove.
