Superior Touch® 13-gauge extreme cut-resistant Dyneema® composite knit work gloves with foam nitrile palm coating. Sold in pairs.

Superior manufacturer’s code: S13FGFNT

These gloves are available in sizes from extra-small (6) to triple extra-large (12). Select the size from the menu above.

This glove has a puncture resistance level 4 and a cut resistance level A5 and an abrasion resistance level 4 according to ASTM and ANSI standards.

GS13FGFNT features:
These gloves combine high resistance to cuts, puncture and abrasion while providing great comfort, high dexterity and a no-slip grip on wet and dry objects. Their composite fibre blends high-strength filament, cut-resistant Dyneema® and tough nylon. The seamless fine knit is elastic, flexible, and breathable. These gloves feature an ergonomic cut that follows the natural curve of the hands and fingers and helps reduce fatigue.

Dyneema® properties:
Dyneema®, also called ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWP), on an equal weight basis, is 15 times more resistant to abrasion than steel, and twice as resistant as Kevlar®. Of all thermoplastic compounds, Dyneema® is by far the best material for protection against abrasion and impact. Dyneema® features excellent chemical and moisture resistance. Unlike Kevlar®, Dyneema® is also resistant to UV light. Dyneema® also offers outstanding protection against mechanical risks such as wear, abrasion and elongation.

Nitrile foam properties:
Nitrile foam has similar properties to plain nitrile, including good chemical resistance and tactile feedback. Its rough texture increases grip on smooth objects and provides an excellent grip on wet or oily objects. Nitrile foam also offers better protection than comparable latex foam.

Nitrile foam disadvantages include a small loss of elasticity compared to plain nitrile due to the presence of various vulcanizing and foaming additives and its permeability caused by the presence of micropores. Nitrile foam does not protect against liquid and liquid-borne hazards such as body fluids, blood-borne pathogens, viruses, etc.

Recommended for:
These cut-resistant no-slip gloves are recommended for workers who handle sharp objects or tools such as workers in the metal stamping and fabrication sector including sheet metal and sharp steel, workers in the glass industry, workers who handle circuit boards, and workers in the automotive and aerospace industry.

Limitations:
The Dyneema®-based composite fibre used for this glove is not heat-resistant. Foam nitrile is not flame-resistant. The foam nitrile coating is porous to liquids over prolonged exposure. Also, since these gloves are only partially covered in foam nitrile, they will not protect against liquids if the hands are entirely submerged. No gloves can fully protect against cuts, tears, punctures, and other injuries caused by mechanical hazards.

Maintenance:
Regular basic care can extend the service life of your gloves. Simply wash the gloves in cold water (85 °F, 30 °C) with a mild detergent. Rinse with cold water. Air dry flat, or dry on low heat in a dryer. Do not use bleach (sodium hypochlorite) on these gloves.
