Peculiarities of:

The special feature of our sterile eye compresses is their oval shape, which follows the contour of the eye perfectly, ensuring good occlusion. They are sterile, absorbent and breathable, making them ideal for cleaning and protecting the eyes. Made from 70% viscose and 30% polyester, these compresses are soft and non-irritating, offering maximum comfort even in the event of discomfort. Individually packaged, they are sterile right up to the moment of use.

Application:
To apply a 7.5 x 4.5 cm (2.75 x 1.75 in.) sterile eye compress, follow these simple steps:

1.              Wash your hands: Make sure your hands are clean to avoid contamination.

2.              Open the packaging: Carefully remove the compress from its sterile packaging, without touching the surface that will be in contact with the eye.

3.              Position the pad: Place the pad over the closed eye, ensuring that it covers the affected area. The oval shape of the pad should comfortably fit the curvature of the eye.

4.              Secure the compress: Use a gauze strip or adhesive bandage to hold the compress in place. Make sure the fastening is firm enough to keep the compress stable, but not too tight to avoid discomfort.

5.              Leave in place: Keep the compress on the eye for as long as necessary to protect and soothe the area.

By following these steps, you can ensure correct and effective application of the eye compress for optimum care.

Maintenance and service life:
Be sure to store them away from excessive heat and humidity to preserve their sterility and effectiveness. Leave compresses in their individual packaging until time of use to ensure they remain sterile.
