Service pressure: 300 PSI. Acceptance test pressure: 600 PSI. Burst pressure: 900 PSI.
The lining of the jacket has been treated with the Mertex process, making it very smooth to minimize pressure losses due to friction. The exterior of the jacket has been treated with Permatek HP to increase its resistance to abrasion and to reduce water absorption by the jacket.
This hose resists most chemicals and petroleum-derived products as well as ozone and UV rays exposure, hydrolysis and mildew.
Standard aluminium coupling.
Recommended for forest and brush fires (may be used on fire trucks), for industrial fire protection, and for fire cabinets in high-rise office or apartment buildings.
Complies with the following standards: NFPA 1961, Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL), Factory Mutual (FM), and U.S.D.A. spec 5100-187B type II.
