This ladder is very easy to deploy and does not require any prior installation. In case of fire or other emergency, this ladder can be hung over a window and used to escape from the second floor of a building. The window opening must be at least 41 cm (16") wide. The wall must be less than 28 cm (11") deep.
The ladder is constructed with fire-resistant red nylon strap rails, designed to prevent tangling. The rungs are 30 cm (1 foot) wide and are made of anti-slip zinc-plated steel. The ladder is easily stored in its packaging.
WARNING: This is a single-use ladder. The rungs are held by a special release strap. Once this strap is cut, the ladder must not be refolded and reused. Refer to the instructions manual linked under the Download tab for more information.
The ladder can support up to 454 kg (900 lbs).
