About APTV and TPP values:
We have observed differences between the values given in the manufacturer's data sheets for APTV and TPP. These values may vary according to the different standards considered. These values are subject to change according to the evolution of tests established according to the reference year of the said standard. The values displayed on our website correspond to those indicated on the garments.
This safety coverall is made of FR treated cotton and sewn with inherently FR thread. The action back has pleats for more comfort when stretching and reaching. The waistband has an elastic band for better comfort. The coverall has a front hidden two-way non-locking zipper, made of FR brass. Wrist and ankle openings are adjustable with snap buttons. The coverall has two pass-through openings on the sides.
The coverall features retroreflective silver (gray) stripes with fluorescent yellow borders, to ensure high visibility in most work environments. Retroreflective stripes are made of StarTech, a FR reflective material. The coverall has two vertical stripes at the front, two X-shaped stripes at the back, a horizontal stripe around the waist, a stripe around each forearm and a stripe around each leg.
This coverall has 7 pockets:
High visibility color information:
Fluorescent orange (neon orange) is highly visible during daylight and in conditions with abundant artificial light. In most situations, it offers a high contrast with the background. However, fluorescent orange is less visible at night and during low light conditions, for instance at dawn or dusk.
Gray (silver) retroreflective stripes are highly visible in low natural or artificial light conditions, because they reflect beams of light (flashlight, vehicle headlights, etc.) back towards their source. They are most efficient during dawn, dusk or at night. However, they do not offer increased visibility during daylight.
Care and durability:
Before washing, be sure to empty all garment pockets and close all zippers, snaps and hook-and-loop fasteners. Turn garments inside out. Do not soak. Do not overload the washer and rinse stubborn stains before washing. Wash in lukewarm water with similar colors and does not exceed (104oF or 40oC). Wash heavily soiled garments separately. Use a mild liquid detergent (PH of 10 or less).
Do not use detergents containing bleach or animal fat, or bleach-containing chlorine (sodium hypochlorite) or hydrogen peroxide in the wash cycle. Do not use fabric softener, as it renders garments flammable. Do not use fabric softeners, starch and/or fabric softener sheets. Garments can be ironed, tumble-dried, tunnel-dried or hung in a cool place. Cover retroreflective tape before ironing. Drying temperature should not exceed 149oF or 65oC. Use the "cotton" setting for drying. Do not over-dry. Do not use starch during drying.
