Metal base for the installation of a fire extinguisher on a forklift

Metal base that allows the installation of a fire extinguisher (from 2-1/2 to 5 pounds) on the vertical structure of an elevator truck. This base is non-destructive when installing the extinguisher hook. The base measures 10 cm between the two 2 inch bolts.

Placement:
According to the NFPA 10 standard for portable fire extinguishers, the operational readiness of these pieces of equipment is crucial. Placing strategically such an important piece of equipment is the sensible thing to do. At last, a portable fire extinguisher shall never be left standing on the floor.

Restriction: 
It should be noted that the base is not compatible with all forklift structures.

Maintenance:
It is crucial to use flat screws to fix your bracket in order to avoid cutting notches on the cylinder of your extinguishers. More often than not, fire extinguishers are nicked by round-head screws. Also, note that no clothing or any other object shall ever be suspended on the bracket or the fire extinguisher.
