Application:
To apply the reusable hot or cold compress, first determine whether you need heat or cold to relieve your pain or inflammation. If you wish to use the hot compress, heat it in the microwave for the time recommended by the manufacturer, usually a few seconds to a minute. For a cold application, place it in the fridge or freezer for at least two hours. Once the compress is ready, apply it directly to the affected area, making sure to place a barrier, such as a thin cloth, between the compress and your skin to avoid burns or frostbite. Keep the compress in place for about 15-20 minutes, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
Maintenance and service life:
After use, clean the compress if necessary and return it to the fridge or freezer if you intend to use it again soon, or store it in a clean, dry place.
