MasterLock series 406 dielectric lock, with one key.
Specially designed for lockout and tagout applications, for all industries and for confined spaces. The body is made of black Zenex thermoplastic. The shackle is made of nylon and can withstand a force of 300 lbs.
All the components of this lock, including the metal components (copper and brass) are non-conductive, non-magnetic and non-sparking. This prevents the formation of arc flashes or electrical currents between the lock and the key. As an additional safety measure, the padlock is key-retaining: the key may not be removed unless the padlock is locked.
Padlock body size:
1 ½” x 1 ¾” (3.8 x 4.4 cm).
Shackle size:
Inner height 1 ½“ (3.8 cm), diameter ¼“ (0.6 cm).
