About high-visibility colors:
It is important to note that coveralls that include a color other than hi-vis orange or hi-vis yellow are not commonly used for high visibility. Black is not as visible as fluorescent colors or bright colours. Coveralls that include black are often used for aesthetic reasons or to avoid showing dirt.
Class 1: This class is designed for workers in low-risk areas such as parking lots and warehouses. According to CSA standard Z96-22, it covers the largest surface area of the body.
Silver-gray retroreflective strips are highly visible in natural or artificial low-light conditions, as they reflect light back towards the source of the light beam (flashlight, car headlights, etc.). They therefore offer the greatest safety at dawn, dusk and during the night. However, they do not increase visibility during the day.
