Bradley portable eyewash station (S19788) with handheld spray hose and 15 gallon (56.8 L) pressurized tank. The handheld spray hose is considered a supplement for the eye/face wash station and does not replace a full-body emergency shower.
Please note this eyewash station is shipped empty. Rinsing liquid and antibacterial solution not included.
Certified ANSI Z358.1-2009. Does not include a device for automatically controlling water temperature.
The eyewash has a minimum flow rate exceeding 0.4 GPM (1.5 L/min) at 30 PSI and can function for 18 minutes. The handheld spray hose has a minimum flow rate exceeding 3 GPM (11.4 L/min) at 30 PSI but can only function for 5 minutes.
This pressurized eyewash station is ideal for places requiring frequent displacements, temporary work areas such as construction sites, areas without a plumbed water supply, and as a backup unit in case of renovations or reparation of a plumbed eyewash station.
This portable eyewash station may be installed on any flat surface. Its single-step activation simply requires a push on the large handle. Once activated, the eyewash station stays on until manually turned off, allowing the victim to use their hands to keep their eyes open for rinsing them.
This eye wash station uses pressurized water, therefore operate and inspect with caution. The eye wash sprayheads are equipped with strainers to filter water particulates. Yellow plastic covers protect the sprayheads from dust and dirt. Pipes are made of chrome-plated brass.
As for any portable eyewash station, the rinsing fluid must be carefully maintained in order to ensure its quality and prevent eye infections. The manufacturer recommends using potable water for filling the tank, to which an antibacterial solution must be added (item PD19921S, not included). The rinsing fluid must also be changed regularly.
The package includes:
- Parts necessary for the installation of the emergency eyewash station (some parts are not supplied, see instructions)
- 1 universal safety sign to indicate the location of the emergency shower
- 1 inspection tag
- 1 trilingual instructions booklet (English, French, Spanish). PDF version also available, see below.
