Bradley portable eyewash station (S19690H) with yellow heater jacket and 15 gallon (56.8 L) pressurized tank. Certified ANSI Z358.1-2009.

Please note this eyeash station is shipped empty. Rinsing liquid and antibacterial solution not included.

The eyewash has a minimum flow rate exceeding 0.4 GPM (1.5 L/min) at 30 PSI and can function for 18 minutes.

This pressurized eyewash station is ideal for workplaces requiring frequent displacements, temporary work areas such as construction sites, areas without a plumbed water supply, and as a backup unit in case of renovations or reparation of a plumbed eyewash station.

This portable eyewash station may be installed on any flat surface. Its single-step activation simply requires a push on the large handle. Once activated, the eyewash station stays on until manually turned off, allowing the victim to use their hands to keep their eyes open while rinsing.

This eyewash station uses pressurized water, therefore operate and inspect with caution. The eyewash sprayheads are equipped with strainers to filter water particulates. Yellow plastic covers protect the sprayheads from dust and dirt. Pipes are made of chrome-plated brass.

As for any portable eyewash station, the rinsing fluid must be carefully maintained in order to ensure its quality and prevent eye infections. The manufacturer recommends using potable water for filling the tank, to which an antibacterial solution must be added (item PD19921S, not included). The rinsing fluid must also be changed regularly.

This eyewash station includes a heater jacket made of waterproof 200-denier nylon with foam padding and a clear vinyl pocket for electric cables. The heater jacket requires a 120V power supply and is powered by a 510W drum heater. This heater jacket works in air temperatures down to -23°C (-10°F). Not for outdoors use.

When installed correctly over a portable eyewash station, the heater jacket keeps the water at a comfortable temperature of 24°C (±2.8°C). A second thermostat, serially connected and equipped with a manual reset, limits the water maximum temperature to 32.2°C (±2.8°C), to avoid burning injured eyes. The heater jacket also protects the pipes of the eyewash yoke through electrical tracing.

The package includes:

  • 1 portable eyewash station with 15 gallon pressurized tank
  • Parts necessary for the setup and installation of the portable eyewash station (some parts are not supplied, see  instructions)
  • 1 yellow heater jacket
  • 1 universal safety sign to indicate the location of the emergency eyewash;
  • 1 inspection tag
  • 1 trilingual instructions booklet (English, French, Spanish). PDF versions also available, see below.
