In case of bad weather, cover up with this waterproof coat for protection
Special features :
Seams are glued, ultrasonically welded and stitched for high performance. This coat is ideal for everyday use in extreme conditions, oils and other chemicals, as it is perfectly waterproof.
This coat closes with front snaps and a flap for protection against the elements.
What's more, there are no pockets. There are no pockets or slits to protect against chemical splashes. However, there is a storage pocket on the overalls (included in the waterproof set or with the purchase of the overalls).
Design:
This coat is easy to wear over warm clothing, while still allowing good air circulation thanks to its loose fit. It features an integrated, non-detachable hood.
PVC is renowned for its resistance to stretching and tearing. The advantage of PVC inner lamination is that it ensures a perfect seal, even in high winds. PVC repels water so workers can go about their business without worrying about water seeping into their coats. On the other hand, PVC is heavier than polyurethane, breathes less and hardens in very cold weather.
Waterproofing:
Workers usually wear this type of raincoat when they have to perform tasks that expose them to low or moderate risks of chemical splashes. PVC is a thermoplastic polymer resistant to chemicals, oils, fats, acids, bases, solvents, oxidants and ozone. It is also resistant to abrasion and stretching.
PVC-coated fabrics are recommended for workers in environments with temperatures ranging from -5°C to 18°C, accompanied by precipitation and strong winds. In fact, this type of raincoat keeps workers dry during torrential downpours because PVC is non-porous; on the other hand, it does not breathe, so a sauna effect created by perspiration can occur. So it's important to choose your clothing wisely, depending on how hard you're going to work.
Application:
Suitable for vegetable growing, forestry, logging, fishing, food processing, construction, haulage, mining, oil, gas and chemical refineries.
Restriction:
The fire-retardant aspect of the coat exceeds the 2-second extinguishing requirements and standards of CGSB CAN/CGSB-155.20.
Care and durability:
This waterproof coat is machine washable on the gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. It should also be air-dried away from direct sunlight. This coat should never be tumble-dried, ironed or dry-cleaned.
