BBH manufacturer’s code: 05-4056-G14B

This level of protection is expressed by a pictogram followed by four numbers, in this case 4111, where the resistance to abrasion is 4/4, the cut resistance is 1/5, the tear resistance is 1/4 and the puncture resistance is 1/4.

G513 peculiarities:
This glove offers an excellent barrier against chemical substances such as oils, grease, acids, caustics, solvents, oxidation and ozone. The thick layer of PVC on this glove provides an outstanding resistance to abrasion and tensile strength. Moreover, its rough finish provides a better grip.

PVC properties:
PVC is a thermoplastic polymer featuring excellent mechanical and chemical properties even when heated. Indeed PVC shows a considerable resilience to many chemical products, but is susceptible to some organic solvents. However, PVC has a higher polar nature which gives it inferior electrical insulating properties.

Use for:
This glove is recommended for chemical handling, the construction field, agriculture, general maintenance, oils, acids and caustics handling, petro-chemical industry and oil refining.

Do not use for:
PVC has poor resistance to UV light and at low temperature, has the tendency to harden and crack. It also has a poor resistance to organic solvents and to hot water and is not recommended for use above 79° C (175° F).

Maintenance and service life:
It is not recommended to wash this glove since it is afterward quite difficult to get all dry.
