This soft, waterproof protective glove offers excellent protection against many chemicals such as solvents, oils, hydrocarbons and acids. It is seamless and has a nitrile outer surface with a cotton/polyester jersey lining on the inside. Sold by the pair.

Showa manufacturer code: NSK26

This glove is available in sizes small to extra large. Please select your size in the box above.

Please note that Showa has its own size numbering system that is different from other North American glove manufacturers. For this reason, please note the letter that designates the size and not the associated number. The manufacturer's coding is 8/S, 9/M, 10/L, 11/XL.

This glove is rated 4111X according to the European standard EN 388 2016, which is comparable to the American standard ANSI. The abrasion resistance is level 4, the highest level. Also this glove has been classified according to EN 374-11: 2016/Type B for JKL products which are respectively 1-heptane, caustic soda 40% and sulfuric acid 96%. Type B corresponds to an immersion time of more than 30 minutes for at least 3 chemicals among those tested. In addition, it complies with the ISO 374-5:2016 standard testing protective gloves against hazardous chemicals and microorganisms.

Peculiarities: of G523
The surface of the hand is liquid-tight and with a rough finish. The rough finish provides better abrasion resistance while ensuring excellent grip (grasping, catching) during handling. The cotton lining wicks away perspiration to ensure worker comfort.  A grommet at the top of the gloves allows the pair to be assembled for storage while laying them upright for easy retrieval. The edge of the glove has an elastic band that holds the glove in its full extension. This glove is 25" (650mm) covering most of the arm.

Nitrile Properties:
Nitrile is the ultimate alternative for latex-free gloves, as it is flexible, safe, strong and comfortable. It is an elastomer synthesized by copolymerizing butadiene with acrylonitrile. Nitrile is also resistant to household products including ammonia, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, paints, solvents, oils, fats and hydrocarbons.

Application:
This glove is accepted for use in food plants in Canada. It is recommended for use in situations such as chemical spraying and processing, coating preparation, laboratories, pharmacy and analysis, paint and spray shops, water and wastewater treatment. This glove is recommended for work in construction, process industries, assembly lines, industries that handle metals, pulp and paper industry, warehouse work and the general public.

Restriction:
Gloves provide protection against the chemical and mechanical hazards listed. Do not use gloves that show signs of wear. Do not wear this glove where there is a risk of entanglement with moving machine parts. Nitrile has no specific restrictions, as it was developed to protect against mechanical, chemical and biological hazards. You just need to know how to choose the appropriate glove thickness for the type of work to be done. The thicker the glove, the better the mechanical and chemical resistance, but it will never be flameproof.

Maintenance and service life:
If necessary, clean the outer surface of the glove with water and mild soap. Dispose of used gloves in accordance with your local regulations. It is not recommended to wash this glove since it is difficult to dry it completely afterwards.
