Uvex (Honeywell) Astro OTG 3001 protective eyewear with Uvextreme anti-fog treated clear polycarbonate lenses. Sold individually. 10 units/case.

This type of lens is perfect for workers dealing with projectiles while working because polycarbonate is impact resistant. Clear lenses offer no protection from sun glare since they let about 85% of light pass through for an optimized vision and acuity. On the other side, these lens absorb 99,9% of all UV rays. Its wide wraparound design allows an over-the-glass coverage for prescription eyeglass wearers besides providing an excellent frontal and lateral protection. Physically, these eyewear features a black frame and black paddle temples. Please note that if a worker wears his prescription eyewear under his safety eyewear, CSA doesn’t recognize the worker’s safety.
This Uvex model meets ANSI Z87.1-2003 and CSA Z94.3-2007 standards in addition to exceeding Vo military standards regarding high velocity impact. For information purposes only, Vo test consists in subjecting the lens to a high velocity impact seven times greater than required by ANSI and CSA standards. The lens’ strength is indeed verified by their physical ballistic resistance.
