Detachable safety vest made from a yellow (hi-vis) polyester knit. The vest can be adjusted by one size using a hook-and-loop fastener. This safety vest offers greater comfort and visibility.

It complies with CSA Z96-15 class 2, level 2 type P and R ANSI/ISEA 107. The StarTech® horizontal retroreflective stripes at the waist are fully hook-and-loop (Velcro-lined) and detachable. The front of the vest is adjustable by one size, and the shoulders also close with hook-and-loop fasteners.

The 5-point detachable design makes removal quick and easy in emergency situations. This model is often used as a reference on construction sites because it is detachable, often referred to as "Tear away."

What’s more, it has 5 external pockets, 4 of which are resealable, providing ample storage space for your personal belongings. This vest also has a transparent pocket for your ID card. There’s also a strap for your mobile phone.  The back of the vest has a D-ring slot for the back loop of a fall arrest harness.

About colors and their uses:
This orange vest features 50mm (2") silver Star Tech® retroreflective stripes and alternating fluorescent yellow stripes. There are 2 vertical stripes at the front, 2 crossed X stripes at the back and a horizontal stripe at the waist.

Fluorescent orange is highly visible during the day and in conditions with lots of artificial light. In most situations, it also offers high contrast with the background. Fluorescent orange is, however, less visible at night and in conditions of low natural or artificial light, such as dawn or dusk.

Silver-gray retroreflective stripes are highly visible in natural or artificial low-light conditions, as they reflect light back towards the source of the beam (flashlight, car headlights, etc.). They therefore offer the greatest safety at dawn, dusk and night. However, they do not increase visibility during the day.

Peculiarities of:
By wearing a high-visibility traffic vest, workers can be seen earlier and more easily by drivers, improving their safety in the workplace. Restriction: 
The hook-and-loop fasteners could snag clothing, scarves or other accessories. For this reason, we do not recommend this jacket if it is to be worn over delicate clothing.

Maintenance and service life: 
Machine wash in cold water, tumble dry at low temperature. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.
