The 5-point detachable design makes removal quick and easy in emergency. A special feature is that one part of the zip can be detached. This model offers the comfort of a zip without compromising on the 5 breaking points. It is therefore permitted on construction sites. It's often referred to as ‘Tear away.’

The design:
The black low-visibility safety vest is made from knitted polyester, a lightweight, breathable material that keeps you cool and comfortable all day long. The back of the vest is made entirely of mesh, which ensures optimum ventilation and wicks away perspiration. The back of the vest also has a D-ring slot for the back loop of a fall arrest harness.

The vest has a plastic zip at the front with a detachable tab on the left side, so you can easily take it off and put it back on again if you need to. The garment detaches easily in the event of entanglement in a machine, for added safety. It has 5 detachment points, 2 on the shoulders, 2 on the sides and one side of the zip. The safety vest is also practical, with 4 sealed pockets and 2 attachment straps that let you store your tools, documents or phone. So you can keep your hands free and access your belongings easily.

About colors and their uses:
This black vest features 50mm (2") silver Star Tech® retroreflective stripes and alternating fluorescent orange  stripes. There are 2 vertical stripes at the front, 2 crossed X stripes at the back and a horizontal stripe at the waist.

CSA Z96-22 class 1 level 2: Low-visibility safety clothing for environments where traffic speeds are low, generally below 40 km/. Low risk.

ANSI/ISEA 107-20 class 1 type O: "Type O" refers to garments offering daytime visibility only, i.e. they are not designed to be visible in low-light or dark conditions. The letter O stands for "Off Road." This can include clothing that doesn't feature reflective stripes or fluorescent materials, but does offer some contrasting color to aid visibility during the day. What sets this bib pant apart is the presence of retroreflective stripes on a black background.

It is important to note that black vest is not commonly used for high visibility, as they are not as visible as fluorescent or bright colors. Black safety vest are often used for aesthetic reasons or to avoid showing dirt.

Silver-gray retroreflective stripes are highly visible in natural or artificial low-light conditions, as they reflect light back towards the source of the beam (flashlight, car headlights, etc.). They therefore offer the greatest safety at dawn, dusk and night. However, they do not increase visibility during the day.

Restriction: This vest does not provide protection against flames or electric arcs.

Care and durability :
Before washing, make sure to empty all garment pockets, close all zips, press studs and hook and loop fasteners. Turn garments inside out. Do not soak. Do not overload the washing machine and rinse stubborn stains before washing. Wash in lukewarm water with similar colours and do not exceed (104°F or 40°C). Wash heavily soiled garments separately. Use a mild liquid detergent (PH of 10 or less).
