3M white S-series hooded facepiece for respiratory protection. This type of facepiece has been design to cover one’s face, head and neck, and is recommended for workers in need of respiratory protection in health, food and pharmaceutical sectors. This code corresponds to the medium/large size; for the small/medium size, see below in the menu. Please take into consideration for your choice of size that according to 3M, the medium/large size is the standard size as regards to the S-series line of product. Sold by the case. 5 units/case.
This type of equipment offers a protection up to 1000 times the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST or any other government regulation applicable.
This hood is disposable and is equipped with a preassembled and integrated head harness for a ready-to-use product. The textile part is made of laminated polypropylene, that is, a light and abrasion resistant material. Moreover, the S-series lens low curvature offers an excellent field of vision and reduces annoying reflections and glare. Finally, this hood allows an optimal air distribution which minimizes whistling noises for a greater comfort and noise reduction.
This model of hood is equipped with 3M new exhalation panel which vents the headtop without the traditional vent hole pattern or exhalation valve.
This particular model can be replaced with 3M BE-series hood RBE/10L/3 as long as the corresponding tube is assembled with it. Please contact our customer service for detailed information concerning the assemblage of your powered respiratory protection equipment.

This piece of equipment gets its NIOSH homologation when assembled with the other components recognised by the manufacturer as part of a complete system. It offers a protection to up to 1000 times the permissive exposure limit to contaminants whatever the equipment chosen, e.g., GVP system, Breathe Easy, Versaflo, Adflo or any V-series air supplied respirators.
