3M RM105 facepiece consist of a faceshield, a standard visor and a faceseal, which makes it the number 1 among workers in factories where hard hats are not required. This product offers a protection up to 25 times the permissible exposure limit.
3M manufacturer’s code: M-206
The faceshield is equipped with a head harness in four points and a ratchet mechanism for adjustment. 3M RM206 only meets partially ANSI Z87.1-2010 standards concerning eye and face protection. RM206 features a standard polycarbonate visor (RM925) which is impact-resistant. A peel-off lens cover (RM926) is also available to protect the visor which may extend its service life. Peel-off lens covers are sold separately.
3M RM105 facepiece feature a deflector to send the air flow in different directions, i.e., toward the face or the visor, whichever is best.
This facepiece also features a RM935 faceseal to ensure the product’s air-tightness. Please note that if facial hair or any other agents obstruct the contact between the face and the faceseal otherwise the manufacturer can’t and won’t ensure that your product is NIOSH approved.
This facepiece has been design to fit on many respiratory protection kits such as GVP, Breath Easy, Versaflo, Adflo and 3M V series supplied air respirators.
