3M white S-series headcover for respiratory protection. This type of facepiece has been design to cover one’s face and top of the head, and is recommended for workers in need of a basic respiratory protection in health, food and pharmaceutical sectors. This code corresponds to the medium/large size; for the small/medium size, see below in the menu. Sold by the case. 5 units/case.
This type of equipment offers a protection up to 25 times the permissible exposure limit set by the CNESST or any other government regulation applicable.
Two sizes of facepiece are available, but according to 3M, the medium/large size is the standard size as regards to the S-series line of product. Its loose-fitting design moulds itself to the shape of one’s face and head. It features a head harness for a better comfort. The facepiece consists of a woven and non-woven polypropylene layered membrane and a visor of laird plastic (PETG), a soft material providing a relatively good impact resistance. This type of facepiece has been mainly design for workers in health, food and pharmaceutical sectors.

This piece of equipment gets its NIOSH homologation when assembled with the other components recognised by the manufacturer as part of a complete system. This facepiece has been design to fit on many respiratory protection kits such as GVP, Breathe Easy, Versaflo, Adflo and 3M V series supplied air respirators.
This particular model can be replaced with 3M headcover RBE/12L/3 as long as the corresponding tube is assembled with it. Please contact our customer service for detailed information concerning the assemblage of your powered respiratory protection equipment.
