Back in the days, this company was active under another name, but in 1987, Crown Mats & Matting Company, an American company, purchased this company which extended its business to the provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Renamed Mat Tech, this company still rooted in Granby is the largest manufacturer and supplier of specialised carpets and mats in Canada.
