Bradley pivoting eye and face wash for sink (S19-270E).

Certified ANSI Z358.1-2009. Minimum flow exceeds 3 GPM (11.4 L/min) at 30 PSI. No temperature control included.

Economical kit for laboratories, medical and industrial facilities, etc. Practical and easier to install than a wall-mount or pedestal face wash.

This face wash can be installed on a counter next to a sink. A pivoting mechanism activates the face wash in a single step, by turning it towards the user. When not in use, the face wash folds next to the sink without hindering access.

The pipes are made of chrome-plated brass with a mirror finish, with two yellow highly visible plastic caps for the sprayheads.

The kit includes:

  • 1 replacement valve with a mechanism activated by the pivoting arm
  • 2 pairs of screw sets
  • 1 shank, ½“ x 2 ½”
  • 1 flat washer, 7/8” x 2”
  • 1 brass nut, ½”-14 NPSM
  • 1 bent pivoting arm
  • 1 face wash assembly with two antimicrobial ABS sprayheads
  • 1 service kit EFW
  • 2 tethered yellow plastic dust covers
  • 1 safety sign to indicate the location of the emergency eyewash
  • 1 inspection tag
  • 1 trilingual instruction booklet (English, French, Spanish). PDF version also available, see below.

Not included: pipes and strainer for connecting the face wash to the water supply.

Warning: This device does not include a thermostatic valve, therefore there is no automated water temperature control. Injuries may be aggravated if hot water is used when rinsing.

The manufacturer recommends the installation of a thermostatic valve in order to comply with ANSI Z358.1-2009 standards. A thermostatic valve keeps rinsing water at a lukewarm temperature.  Rinsing water should not be too cold (for more comfort while rinsing for the minimum required rinsing time of 15 minutes) nor too hot (to avoid aggravating eye or face injuries and to avoid scalding).
